"Rollers" by Lynda Cookson
For us here in the northern hemisphere our thoughts are starting to turn - quite early I might mention! - to the beach and waves and sunshine. With sand between our toes. We've had no winter to speak of at all here in Brittany.

"Clear Green Wave" by Lynda Cookson
It's another really windy and rainy day again here on the west coast of Brittany in France. If we were brave enough to venture down to the sea, which is only 300 metres down a steep road, we'd likely see a rather more active sea than this one! But just imagine the sound of gentle waves lapping at the shore ... in your home each day. How soothing.

Big White Flowers
"Big White Flowers" is so fresh and bold. It feels free and full of sunshiny happiness to me.
Just like today ... we have another really beautiful and warm sunny day with clear skies. What ever happened to winter on the coast of Brittany this year I just don't know. I'm sitting here with a cool top on and a thin cardigan, with only one pair of socks to keep my toes warm. Crazy to be so toasty, without a heater on, in what is usually deepest coldest winter.

I have quite a few paintings on show on Fine Art America ... and "Wait for me!" recently sold as a print, from that site, to a buyer in Ireland. "Wait for me!" was most definitely set in Ireland ... we spend 14 years there, in Connemara, before moving to Brittany in France.
